He was predeceased by: his parents, Emerson Shedd and Eleanor Shedd of North Ferrisburgh; and his sisters, Eleanor Shedd Whitehouse and Polly Ann Shedd Smith. He is survived by: his wife Edith Wheeler of Barre; his children, Suzy (Bob Purvis), Mark (Ellen) and David (Dena Wheeler); and his grandchildren, Julia Shedd (Tim Morse), David Shedd (Jessica) and Olivia Flewelling.
