He is survived by: his mother Fay Waggoner (Delp) of Fort Walton Beach, FL; his wife Marla Waggoner of Montpelier; his children, Dameron Matherne of Denham Springs, LA, Dean Jay Waggoner of Barre, VT, Megan Waggoner of Vernon, CT and Nicole Waggoner of Barre, VT; and his siblings, Alan Waggoner of Charleston, SC, Mike Waggoner of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Angie Waggoner Richey of Crosby, TX and Christy Waggoner-Orn of Pointblank, TX. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
