Ronald James Harding Obituary

Ronald James Watkins, 79, died on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at his home in Maryland.

He was born on July 1, 1942 in Barre, VT, the son of Libero and Ema Harding. He was educated in Barre and graduated from Spaulding High School in 1957. He later studied at the Cambridge School of Radio and TV broadcasting, graduating in 1960.

Ronald served in the United States Army Reserves from 1957 – 1969.

After settling in Baltimore, Maryland, He married Jayne Cohen in June 1963. He was later employed by the Prince George's County Federal Credit Union until his retirement in 2004.

Survivors include his daughter, Rebecca Snowden (Watkins) and Jennifer Fefel; His siblings, nieces, nephews, and grand children; and many close friends.

He was predeceased by his parents, and first wife, Jayne.

A graveside service at Hope cemetery will be announced at a later date.
