It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret O. Ayer (Montpelier, Vermont), born in Barre, Vermont, who passed away on May 9, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew O'Hagan and Gertrude O'Hagan (Coughlin); her husband Carroll Ayer; her son Daniel Carroll Ayer; her siblings, Mary Gregg and Edward O'Hagan; and her parents-in-law, Edward Gregg, Gordon Ayer and Pat O'Hagan.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Sassone, Mary Ayer, Martha Lacroix (Terry) and Timothy Ayer (Carol); her daughter-in-law Sandy Ayer; and her sister-in-law Judy Ayer. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and many good friends.
