It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James D. Brook (Montpelier, Vermont), who passed away on November 6, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though James has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Brooks and Jean Brooks; and his sister Prudance Dowers. He is survived by: his wife Diana Brooks; his children, Diana Brooks of Plainfield, VT, Roscoe Brooks of Plainfield, VT, Ethan Brooks of Wisconsin, Briana, Katrina, Jeannine Bradeen of Worcester and Lee Bradeen of Wells River; and his siblings, Peter Brooks of Williston and Jeanie Martin of Maine.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Worcester United Methodist Church (35 Worcester Village Rd, Worcester, VT 05682).
