It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerard Jacques of Montpelier, Vermont, born in Barre, Vermont, who passed away on September 10, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Demas Jacques Belanger and Gerard Arthur Jacques; and his siblings, Vincent "Butch" Jacques and Lorraine Comi. He is survived by: his former wife Doris A. Blouin (Kevin Marlier); his children, Thomas M. (Stacie M. Jacques) of Barre, VT, Jackson V. (Jennifer K. Jacques) and Morgan D. Jacques (Ethan Bartolomeo); his pet Killer; and his grandchildren, Carlin L. Z. Jacques of Zavier, A. R, Bartolomeo, Magnolia R. Jacques, Alexandra Pridemore and Kenneth McCracken. He is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wheels for Warmth, Central Vermont Humane Society, Montpelier Food Bank, or to the family (Thomas, Jackson, or Morgan Jacques) to cover expenses.
