He was predeceased by: his parents, Lionel Richer and Beatrice Richer (Brouillard); and his brothers, Bob, Paul and Bruce.
He is survived by: his son Don; his wife Pam Richer; his siblings, Alan Richer (Brenda), Jay Richer (Mari-Vic) and Alice Walker; his stepchildren, Christa Kemp, Jamie Richer, Jennifer Olson (Gunnar), Scott Choiniere (Jenny) and Jodi Dexter (Matt); his grandchildren, Caroline, Austin, Brittany, Devon, Garrett, Sarah, Laura, Mariah, Hunter, Ian, Riley, Connor and Griffin; and his great grandchildren, Chandler, Daniel and Addison.
He had a rough time after contracting COVID-19 and wanted to express deep gratitude to the exceptional medical staff in the ICU at UVM Medical Center.
