He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Davis and Violet Smith Davis; and his siblings, Elizabeth Haywood, James Davis and Lawrence Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Tammy Davis of Berlin, VT; his children, Clayton "Butch" Davis Jr. of Fletcher, VT, Joseph Davis of Barre, VT and Melissa Davis of Barre, VT.; and his siblings, Charlotte Tucker of Burlington, VT, Alice Nelson of Alton, NH and Lee Davis of Barre, VT.. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.
