We are sad to announce that on October 5, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Roger Wright Layn of Monkton, Vermont, born in Starksboro, Vermont. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wright Layn and Anna Layn (Duchane); his wife Helen Burritt; his brothers, Robert, Roderic and Royden Layn; and his granddaughter Kristine Layn.

He is survived by: his children, Craig Layn (Janis), Candace Polzella (Patrick) and David Layn (Anne); and his grandchildren, Michael Layn, Bailee Gordon (Scott), Curtis Layn (Heather) and Alex Layn. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.

In leu of flowers, donations in Roger's memory can be made to the Antique Equipment Area, Addison County Fair & Field Days, 1790 Field Days Rd, Vergennes, VT 05491 or the Vermont Veterans Militia Museum, 789 Vermont National Guard Road, Colchester, VT 05446.
