As Mary Jane departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Mary Jane. Though Mary Jane may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha Teresa and Benjamin Joseph Leech; and her brothers, Frank Leech and Robert Leech. She is survived by: her husband Charles Huizenga, Sr.; and her sons, Charles Huizenga, Jr. (Rosie) of Monkton, Brian Huizenga of Ferrisburg, David Huizenga (Robin) of Monkton and Alan Huizenga (Melodie) of Bristol. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and sixteen nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter's Church (85 S Maple St, Vergennes, VT 05491).
