He is survived by: his wife Barbara Wallace Whitney; his children, Kristen Ann Porter (Bill) of Monkton, VT, Kimberly Pease of South Burlington, VT and Todd W. Whitney of South Burlington, VT; his son-in-law Scott Pease of Shelburne, VT.; his grandchildren, Katelyn Pelkey (Keith Coakley), Jacob Goldstein (Erika), Megan Pease (Joe Ybarra), Hannah Pease (Spencer Koller), Joplin Whitney and Angus Whitney; his great grandchildren, Raea Coakley, Maya Coakley, Lilly Sweeney and Joey Ybarra; his sister-in-law Marilyn Shepherd (Billy); his nephew Jeffrey Shepherd (Suzie); and his niece Nicole Rolinson (Miller).
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the North Ferrisburgh United Methodist Church (227 Old Hollow Rd, North Ferrisburgh, VT 05473). A reception was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the United Methodist Church (227 Old Hollow Rd, North Ferrisburgh, VT 05474).
