He is survived by: his wife Dolores Ashton; his sons, Robert Ashton (Tabitha) of Milton and Patrick Ashton (Lynette) of Swanton; his grandson Caleb; and his siblings, Richard Ashton of St Johnsbury, Carol Griffith of Maine and Barbara Lamont of St. Johnsbury.
