Margaret Linda Hoyt Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 13, 2023, at the age of 96, Margaret Linda Hoyt of Milton, Vermont, born in Johnson, Vermont passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice May Mills and Howard Waterman; and her husband John Prescott Hoyt Jr.. She is survived by: her children, John P. Hoyt III, Jay, Mark O. Hoyt, Margo H. Breen and Christopher L. Hoyt (Kelly Mullins) of Parker, CO.; her granddaughter Marsha (Kevin McCombie) of Milton; her great grandchildren, Sawyer O. and Crosby J. McCombie; and her granddaughters, Lindsay Hoyt of Chapel Hill, NC and Megan Breen (Thomas Cole) of Shoreham.
John and Peggie later donated 114 acres of Eagle Mountain to the Lake Champlain Land Trust for Conservation, which was transferred to the Town of Milton per their wishes.
