He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeanne Bergevin (Desforges) and Louis Bergevin; his wife Patricia Bergevin; his sons, Louis and Joseph Bergevin; and his grandson John Bergevin.
He is survived by: his brothers, Yvon Bergevin (Karen) of Tuscon, AZ, Andre Bergevin (Carol) of Middlebury and Bernard Bergevin of Weybridge; his brother-in-law Gordon Nailor (Norma) of Brandon; and his children, Jean Lachat (Wayne) of Shoreham, Jane Aube (Eugene) of New Haven, Jacqueline Doty (Paul) of Brandon and Jacque Bergevin of Middlebury. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sanderson Funeral Service (117 S Main St, Middlebury, VT 05753). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (326 College St, Middlebury, VT 05753).
