It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Sandra L. Lague Askin (Middlebury, Vermont), who passed away at the age of 79, on October 22, 2024. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She is survived by: her husband Robert Askin; her children, Kolleen "Eivira" Scaff of Hancock, VT, Christine Lee Cook of Middlebury and Donald Vincent Shunney of Oxford, MA.; her grandchildren, Samantha Lee Blomquist of Wilder, VT, Patrick W. Walker of Layton, UT, Delaney Ryan of Avon, MA, Tanner Leary of Hancock, VT and Rowan Leary of Fairhaven, MA; and her great grandchildren, Jack, Kyle and Alex.

A memorial service was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hancock Town Hall (1090 Vermont Rte 100, Hancock, VT 05748).

In lieu of flowers, donations to Homeward Bound would be appreciated.
