He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Boise and Alice Boise (Desrocher); and his brother Reginald Boise. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Y. (Gero); and his sons, William "Bill" Boise (Carole) of New Haven and Bradley "Brad" Boise (Amy) of Middlebury. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Addison County Humane Society (Homeward Bound) at 236 Boardman Street Middlebury, VT 05753.
