We are sad to announce that on August 22, 2024, at the age of 102, Phyllis Zizzo (Middlebury, Vermont), born in Brooklyn, New York passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Phyllis Zizzo to pay them a last tribute.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Phyllis shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Phyllis farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pasquale Montalbano and Josephine Montalbano (Ardizzone); and her husbands, Salvatore Sinacore and Peter Zizzo. She is survived by: her son Thomas J. Sinacore (Marie Garbacz) of Middlebury; and her nephew Peter Milazzo.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 27th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Sanderson Funeral Service (117 S Main St, Middlebury, VT 05753). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, August 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Church (326 College St, Middlebury, VT 05753). A burial was held on Thursday, August 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Charles Cemetery (2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
