She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Chester Merrill and Beatrice Merrill (LeBlanc); her husband Richard Markwell of Middlebury; her daughters, Debra Ash (Glenn), Lori Poirier (Louis) and Donna Chase; and her siblings, Joanne Sawyers and Jack Merrill. She was also cherished by six grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
