With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marion Schueler Werner (Middlebury, Vermont), born in Rochester, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 8, 2024 at the age of 97. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Schueler and Marguerite Schueler (Miller); and her husband Fred. She is survived by: her children, Joan (Ray) of Indiana, Meg (Peter) of New Hampshire, David (Cheryl) of Middlebury, Jim (Betsy) of Wyoming and Peter (Karleen) of Brandon. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Her next career–mother to five children–included volunteer work with Girls Scouts and Boy Scouts, religious education, hosting an international exchange student, the Addison County Chamber of Commerce and Porter Hospital (RSVP).
