It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Connell Lewis Jr. (Middlebury, Vermont), born in Atlantic City, New Jersey, who passed away on April 10, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John C. Lewis and Ella Lewis; his children, Laura Brockett of Randolph, NH., John C. Lewis III (Jennifer) of Raleigh, NC., Douglas Lewis (Kelley) of Park City, UT. and Jason Lewis of Boulder, CO.; his sisters, Bonnie, Wettberg, Elizabeth Roberts and Glen Ellen Menard; his grandchildren, Christopher Brockett, Sarah Brockett, Audrey Lewis, Olivia Lewis and Russell Lewis; his wife Susan Lewis; and his brother Grey Lewis.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Elderly Services of Vermont (http: //elderlyservices.org/make-an-online-gift/) where both Sue and John enjoyed attending the Project Independence program for many years.
