Duane P. Baker Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane P. Baker (Middlebury, Vermont), who passed away on April 8, 2018, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Duane P. Baker to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his sister Susan Thompson. He is survived by: his children, Sandra Brodeur, Crystal Cooper, Joseph Ladouceur, Daniel Beaupre, Sarah Bagley and Jennifer Davis; and his siblings, Elmer Baker, Steven Baker, Christine Troville, Dale Rathe and Keith Baker.
Of note is that he and his brothers built the submarine "The Lake Champlain Exployer" and, indifference to what he considered their greatest achievement, donations in Duane's memory may be sent to "Save the Submarine" in C/O Lake Champlain Maritime Museum, 4472 Basin Harbor Rd., Vergennes, VT 05491.
