She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Roland Cunningham Libby and Georgeanne Stout Libby; her children, Laura Carlsmith (family: Robert Bast, Lee Bast, Emma Bast), Bruce Carlsmith (family: Lisa Putnam, Jennifer Carlsmith, Ryan Carlsmith) of Portola Valley, CA and Duncan Carlsmith of Madison, WI; her grandchildren, Caroline Carlsmith and Joe Carlsmith; her daughter Jennifer Carlsmith; and her sister Mary Hales.

Memorial gifts in lieu of flowers may be made to Addison County Home Health & Hospice, EastView at Middlebury, or Homeward Bound, Addison County's animal rescue in Middlebury.
