He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Birch and Stella Birch (Day); his wife Betty Birch; his children, Robert P. Birch, Kim Bills (George) of Readsboro and Mark Birch (Wendy) of Whitingham; and his grandson George J Bills, Jr.. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
