He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Champine and Alice Champine (Mills); his brothers, Walter and Donald Champine; his sisters-in-law, Shirley and Bernice Champine; and his nephews, Walter and David Champine.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn LeFond; his children, Christopher Champine (Melissa) of Manchester, VT, Dr. Jeffrey Champine of Atlanta, GA and Rebecca Hamann (Ryan) of Quincy, IL.; and his grandchildren, Alexa Roy, Garrett Platts, Katelyn Hamann and Olivia Champine.
