With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Deborah Jane Mackin (Manchester Center, Vermont), born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 27, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Marian Taylor and Arthur Taylor; her former husband Bob Harrington; her husband Paul Mackin; and her children, Michael Harrington of Montpelier, VT, Matthew Harrington of Bennington, VT, Sarah Imboden of Tivoli, NY, Andrew Mackin of Bismark, ND, Ben Mackin of Bennington, VT and Molly Mackin of Hiddenite, NC. She was also cherished by numerous grandchildren, as well as her siblings and an extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to be made to World Central Kitchen (https://wck.org) or Compassion International (https://www.compassion.com), institutions that held a special place in Deborah's heart and which align with her lifelong commitment to helping others.
