She is survived by: her husband Edward Johnson; her mother Alice Sawyer of Hertford, NC; her children, April Kelly and Roy Shaw; her grandchildren, Jason Kelly, Raven Duckett of Anderson, NC, Alex Shaw of Malone, NY and Michael Shaw; her siblings, Dale Sergeon of Hertford, NC, Tiffany Silvester of Hertford, NC and Alice Mays of Bracey, VA; and her stepchildren, Wayne Johnson of Springfield and Wendy Johnson of Bristol.
