It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rita Calkins (Lyndonville, Vermont), born in Westmore, Vermont, who passed away on January 28, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearley Gibson and Daisy Gibson (Bullis); her brother Neil Gibson; her husband Paul R. Calkins; and her friends, Beverly Paris, Wanetta Counter and Joyce Lefaivre.

She is survived by: her son Kevin L. Calkins; her grandchild Kelley; her daughter Karen (Chris Martel); her stepson Gary (Emily); her stepgrandchildren, Charles Calkins (Robin), Gary Calkins Jr., Andrew Calkins (Lori Dodge) and Angela Calkins (BJ Hartwell); and her close friend Muffin. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
