He was predeceased by: his parents, David Herbert and Marjorie B. Cassady (Gray); his daughter Doreen Joslyn; and his siblings, Wendell "Jack" Cassady, Lawrence "Larry" Cassady, David Wayne Cassady, Eleanor Peck, Elwin Cassady and Rita Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Claire Susan Desbiens of Whitefield, NH; his children, Allan Cassady (Pamela) of Monument, CO, David (Lisa) of Glendale, AZ and Karen Sourgiadakis (Demetrios) of St. Johnsbury; his sister Ruth Wheeler of Lyndonville; his grandchildren, Mark Cassady, Megan Sheiber (Ryan), Krista Enderson, Ashley Cleland (Josh), Danielle Cassady, David Cassady, Derek Cassady, Mihail Sourgiadakis and Xpistos Sourgiadakis; and his great grandchildren, Elena, Sophia Cassady and James Sheiber. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
