He was predeceased by: his parents, James Earl and Helen Jean Gent (Bond). He is survived by: his wife Kathy of Wheelock, VT; his son Wayne Gent of Bridgeton, NC; his stepchildren, Michael Strzempko (Samantha Graves) of Wheelock, Derrick Strzempko of Wheelock and Heather Amezaga (Hugo) of Statesville, NC; and his grandchildren, Maverick Strzempko, Mikalea, Seth Gent, Ashley and Liam.
