He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvira Briggs, (Sayers) and Harry Briggs, Sr.; and his brothers, Walter, Harold and Francis.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Briggs of Franconia; his children, Cynthia Keller (Doug), Allyn Briggs (Tina), Gary Briggs (Marianne), Christine Briggs and Peggy Horne (Maurice); and his siblings-in-law, Natalie Fuller and Leonard Astle (Sonja). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
