It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edson Birchard (Lyndonville, Vermont), born in Shoreham, Vermont, who passed away on December 5, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Birchard and Gertrude Birchard (Nicholson); his wife Betty Sinclair; and his sister Betsy Hazen. He is survived by: his daughter Susan Wells (Wade) of Lyndonville; his grandson Thomas Wells (Ali Dayton) of Roslindale, MA; his half-brothers, Craig Birchard (Inge), Howard Birchard (Sue) and Steve Birchard; his nephew Allen Hazen of West Virginia; and his cousins, Gail Schmidt (Ralph) and Dean Birchard (Bonnie) of Newport. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
