He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Hoar and Marion Hoar (Murphy); his wife Ila Hoar of Barnet; his children, Sean Hoar (Karen Lafreniere) of Graniteville, VT and Kelly Greaves (Paul) of Walden, VT; his sisters, Beverly Merritt of Rutland, VT, Betty McCarthy of Ocala, FL and Marilyn Bixby of Shelburne, VT; his grandchildren, Brenden Greaves of St. Johnsbury, VT and Pamela Sweet (Jason) of Danville, VT; and his great grandchild Daniel Sweet. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
