He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Richard and Arlene Murial Calkins (Wescott); his stepparents, Donald Dole and Rita Calkins; and his parents-in-law, A. Francis and Doris Roy.
He is survived by: his wife Emily of Lyndonville; his children, Charles Calkins (Robin) of Sheffield, Gary Calkins, Jr. (Michelle Bento) of Billerica, MA, Andrew Calkins of Lyndonville and Angela Calkins (William Hartwell Jr.) of Lyndonville; his siblings, Kevin Calkins of Lyndonville and Karen Martel of St. Johnsbury; his grandchildren, Devon Bedor, Justin Bedor, Dakota Calkins, Cameron Barney, Audrey Hartwell, Saige Calkins and Baylee Calkins; and his extended family, Jeff Brooks, Chrystal Chase, Evan Knapp and HollyAnn Ella Barney. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
