He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dunphy and Phyllis Dunphy (Brown); his stepfather Edwin Moulton; his brother Ronald (Leora Dunphy); his brother-in-law Gary (Shirley Rutherford); and his niece Pamela Dunphy.
He is survived by: his wife Leslie A Rutherford; his daughters, Janet Brown (Jeff) of Lyndon Center, VT and Jennifer Dunphy (Todd Harrison) of Chicago, IL; his grandchildren, Dylan Gage, Madison Brown, Jack Brown, Samantha Brown, Cole Duncan and Cassandra Duncan; his niece Tissy Rogers (family: Paula Eaton, Peggy Dunphy); and his nephew True Rutherford.
