She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Brown and Dora Brown (Willson); her husband Albert "Abbie" L. LaValley; her son Bert LaValley of Wasilla; and her sister Marian Streeter of Lunenburg.

She is survived by: her daughters, Bethany Chase of Lunenburg and Marian Bucklin of Lancaster. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
