He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Harold Kirchoff and Margery Elizabeth Schmitz Kirchoff (Schmitz); and his sister-in-law Jeanne Bateman. He is survived by: his wife Joan of Lyndon; his children, Timothy L. Kirchoff (Tiffany) of Lyndon, Bonnie J. Kirchoff of Lyndon and Jennifer J. Layn (Joe) of Peacham; his siblings, James (Cindy) of Evansdale, IA, Kevin (Ramona) of Waterloo, IA, David Kirchoff (Michelle) of Readlyn, IA, Suzzanne Schaefer (Pat) of Waterloo, IA and Karen Hibben (Gary) of Waterloo, IA; his brothers-in-law, Dr. Robert Wilson (Katherine) of Winchester, MA, William Wilson (Barbara) and John Bateman (Mary) of Frankfort, MI; his grandchildren, Addison, Korbin Kirchoff, True and Roarke Layn; and his cousins, Janice Rogers and Gary Schmitz. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
