It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bonita D. Halpern of Island Pond, Vermont, born in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 4, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Gower and Arlene Gower; her pet Chance; her husband Arnold Halpern of Island Pond, VT; her children, Melanie Halpern (Michael Sykes) of Island Pond, VT, Brook Simoneau (Brian) of Derby, VT and Wesley Halpern of Island Pond, VT; her grandchildren, Lee, Jacob, Luke, Benjamin, Adam Sykes, Andrew Halpern, Cody and Dylan Simoneau; her great grandchild Ellie Sykes; and her brothers, Gary Gower of Niagra Falls, NY. and Barry Gower.
