With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Poutre (Irasburg, Vermont), born in Newport, Vermont, who passed away on January 21, 2019 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Poutre and Lucille Poutre. He is survived by: his spouse Etiennette Roberge (Paulette); his son Donald J Poutre Jr (Shawna); his grandchildren, Mariah and Blaike; his daughter Dawn Marie Poutre; his pets, Piper, Ted, Phil, Fred (Patti, Evelyn) and Dennis (Carol, Andre); his siblings-in-law, Rejean, Claude (Donna, Robert), Connie (Claude, Gigi), Gate (Paul, Francine) and Marianne (Brian, Sue Roberge); his parent-in-law Felix; his sibling Henry Poutre; his brother-in-law John Roberge; and his granddaughter Kristin Marie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking that you either plant a tree or flower at your favorite spot in memory of Donald.

“I knew Donald all my life, gave laughter and good memories throughout the years I worked on the Family's Dairy Farm. I was always happy to see Donald and his Family they were young then. I worked on his Mom’s Dairy farm and we would go help Donald on his farm when we got caught up. Donald had a voice that Nashville should have recognized as unique and he was a very talented musician. His mom was like a second mother. His brothers and sisters always had smiles on their face. Bless you Donald”
