With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty J. Cook of Irasburg, Vermont, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 7, 2025 at the age of 93. As Betty departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Betty may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Betty leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Blevins and Ester Blevins (Adams); her spouse Byron Cook; her son Roland; and her brother Raymond Blevin.
She is survived by: her children, Charlie Cook (Gail) of Irasburg, VT and Sally Berry (Kevin) of Irasburg, VT. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Irasburg United Church.
