He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest LaCroix, Jr. and Helen Eleanor Welsh LaCroix. He is survived by: his son Skip LaCroix of Florida; and his siblings, Patricia Tallman (Phil) of Eden Mills, Fred LaCroix (Chris) of Pennsylvania and Jack Cooper (Bev) of Delaware. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
