With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Bernard Benway of Hyde Park, Vermont, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Bernard left this world on December 13, 2024 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Benway and Mildred Benway (Rollins); and his siblings, Jean, Janice and Alan.

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Michelle Hall (Ron), Danielle Silver, Courtney Benway (Glenn), Codi Benway (Clint), Zachary Trottier and Bryanna Trottier (Randie); and also, Mike, Mary Benway of Hardwick, Jim and Michelle Trottier of Wheelock. He is also survived by five great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the DesGroseilliers Funeral Home and Cremation Care (97 Church St, Hardwick, VT 05843). A prayer was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
