He was predeceased by: his parents, Byron Madden and Mabel Rebecca Madden of Greenfield, Maine.; his son Dwight Madden; his siblings, Grandville Madden and Priscilla Costigan; his half-sisters, Janette Bragdon and Irene Roche; and his grandson Warren Fitzgerald.
He is survived by: his son Butch; his wife Beverly; his children, Roger I. Goodhue, Jr. (Kelly) of Middle Grove, NY, Robert A. Goodhue of Exeter and Donna M. GoodHale (Bradley) of Rutland, Vermont.; his grandchildren, Roger I. Goodhue, III, Bobbi Bea Fitzgerald and Jenna R. Donahue; his great grandchildren, Anna, Tomas, Amaya, Kiana, Mariah and Sofia; his cousin Fernald; and his nephews, Steve, Chris, Matt and Forrest.
