She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas William Mahan and Mary Anna Josephine Mahan (Couture); her husband Richard "Dick" Stowe; her son Timothy; her granddaughter Valerie Stowe; her siblings, Madeline Arter, Armand Mahan, William Mahan, Estella Bartlett and Rachel Kirkland; and her parents-in-law, Karl and Vera Stowe.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Miller (Ralph) of Vergennes, Vermont, Danniel Stowe (Pam) of Provo, Utah, Laurel Brady (Jim) of Mapleton, Utah, Dave Stowe (Jane) of Hinesburg, Vermont, Robert Stowe (Andra) of Genola, Utah, James Stowe (Jill) of Hinesburg, Vermont, Susan Phillips (Greg) of Washington, Utah and JoAnne Stowe of Hinesburg, Vermont; her siblings-in-law, Harold Stowe (June) of South Burlington, Vermont and Marjorie Thorpe (Dave) of Meredith; and her friend Jean Smith of New Haven, Vermont.. She is also survived by 45 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
