It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Weldon Ward Murphy of Hartland, Vermont, who passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Dean Murphy and Alice Shute Bagley; and his siblings, Mahlon, Carlton, Calvin, Rodney, Alan and Phyllis.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Jon (Kacey Murphy), Eric Murphy of Hartland and Michele (Todd Hood); his brother Dean Murphy of Anderson, SC; and his stepsiblings, John Bagley and Sandra White of Concord, NH. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hartland Village Cemetery (10 Station Rd, Hartland, VT 05048).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jack Byrne Center for Palliative and Hospice Care.
