He is survived by: his father David Downing; his brother David Downing (Beth) of Mooresville, NC; his niece Rylie Downing of Mooresville; his uncles, Johnny, Mark, Terry Downing, Ernest, George and Gary Griffin; and his aunt Charlene Locke. He is also survived by cousins, other relatives and friends.
