He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Alicia Connors; his parents, Mary Ellen and Frank A. Clemente, Sr.; his children, Nicole Zebrowski (Peter) of West Caldwell, NJ, Erin Cahill (Jered) of Troy, NY, Robert J. Clemente, Jr. (Sabina) and Rachel Clemente of Troy, NY.; his stepchildren, Andres and Gabrielle Varela; his nieces and nephews, Patrick Wright, Nina and Kyle Clemente; his former wife Beth Wright Clemente; his siblings, Frank, Paul, Maribeth, Philip and David; and his grandchildren, Darby, Jack Cahill, Vincenzo Clemente and Red Varela. He was also cherished by numerous sisters- and brothers-in law.
