He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald F. Beane and Marie Vincent (Johnson); and his brother Joel Beane. He is survived by: his spouse Robin L. "Wescott" Beane of Hartford; his children, Lorraine Baline (Matthew) of Denver, Jennifer Beane of Hartford and Andrew Beane (Alexandra) of Brooklyn; his grandchildren, Ava, Alexander, Lily, Maggie, Samuel and Alden; and his siblings, Richard Beane, Julie Ramage, Cindy Carpenter and Elizabeth Saltzman.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Wounded Warrior Project.
