He was predeceased by: his parents, Dominic Modica and Rose Modica; his sister Priscilla Twing; and his niece Rebecca Lynn Modica. He is survived by: his wife Jane Modica of Walden, VT; his children, David Modica, Lisa Modica of Cheshire, CT, Dori Walker (Tom) of Thetford, VT, Amanda Lenz Lee (Alan) of Cumming, GA and Clayton Lenz of Las Cruces, NM.; his grandchildren, Anthony Nollen, Jr. (Angelina), Nicole Walker, Aidan Holroyd, Aislynn Holroyd, Tėa Antigiovanni and Chase Lee; his great grandchildren, Derek Nollen and Jolene Nollen; and his siblings, Patricia Casey, Larry Modica (Barbara), Richard Modica (Cheryl), Robert Modica (Patricia) and Paula Nosal. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ronald's memory to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which honors America's First Responders, Veterans, and their Families.
