He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roger Billings and Isabel Billings (Symonds); his wife Helen Bird; his children, June Cleveland (Phill), Mark and Max (Linda); and his grandchildren, Garrett Cleveland, Jason Billings (Karen), Monica Billings (Adam), Brock Billings (Christina), Brandy Chauvin (Marc), Brant Billings (Karina), Brooke Billings (Shane), Braden Billings, Joshua Billings and Tim Cleveland. He was also cherished by ten grandchildren and one great grandson.
He drove school bus and became one of the first members of the Hardwick Rescue Squad, reconstructing a hearse donated by Holcomb and used as their ambulance.
