He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Patoine and Therese Patoine (Goyet); and his brother Donald Patoine. He is survived by: his wife Bonita; his children, Renee Fontaine (Dan Royer), Heather Cadorette (Barry) and Matthew Patoine; his grandchildren, Mark Fontaine, Brianna Stuart (Tony), Payson Cadorette and Ainsley Cadorette; and his great grandchildren, Tanner Stuart and Nathan Stuart.

John has requested that there not be a funeral due to Covid.
